Nourishing Communities, One Meal at a Time
In August 2025, Topseller brought the warmth of home cooking to the residents of St Luke’s ElderCare in Ang Mo Kio, through a specially organised Royal Umbrella Cooking Workshop.
The session was led by Chef Lisa, who demonstrated the preparation of wholesome, nourishing dishes — including fragrant lotus leaf rice, comforting herbal soup, and soothing rice tea — all crafted using Royal Umbrella products. Beyond the recipes themselves, the workshop was designed to spark joy, encourage healthy eating habits, and foster meaningful connection between the elderly residents and the wider community.
PSC and Topseller staff volunteers were on hand throughout the session, engaging personally with residents and ensuring every participant felt welcomed and cared for.
The initiative reflects PSC’s commitment to giving back to the communities it has served for over five decades — recognising that nourishing people goes beyond the products on their shelves.
